I called about 6 other circumcision clinics in Ottawa and they all said they couldn't do it because my son was over 8 weeks old expect for Dr. Akil's clinic. • Dr. Akil performed a circumcision on my newborn son. He was very thorough in explaining the procedure until I was comfortable with it. Afterwards he made sure I understood the aftercare before I left and he checked in on us at home 2 hours later to be sure everything was okay.
